Getting in touch

There is no email address, phone number or mailing address on this page yet, because none of them are live. We would rather tell you that than print a channel nobody is reading.

Each one appears here as it becomes real, and when it does, it will be a channel someone actually answers. In the meantime, the pages below answer most of what people write in to ask.

Ways to reach us

Email
Not live yet. No address is published, so nothing here will bounce.
Phone
No business line yet. We will not list a number that rings nowhere.
Address
We visit properties across the GTA and Peel Region, Ontario; there is no office to visit, so there is no address to publish.
Response time
We do not publish a response time, because we have no record to base one on. When we can stand behind a number, it will be here.

What to read instead

These pages answer most of what people write in to ask, and they answer it in more detail than a reply would.

  • Read the price guides

Most messages that begin "what should this cost" are answered free in the guides, in more detail than a reply would contain. No email required to read them.

  • How it works

What the consultation involves, what the written verdict contains, what happens if you cancel, and what we will not do. The frequently asked questions are answered there in full.

  • What each service is, and is not, for

Every service page says plainly who should buy it and who should not. If you are trying to work out which one you need, start there rather than with a message.

  • Start a consultation

Working with us starts with a consultation. The booking flow asks the seven things we need and takes your email at payment — that address is how we reach you about your project, and how you reach us about it afterwards.

What we cannot help with

Some questions need someone else, and saying so is faster than a reply that says the same thing three days later.

  • Anything urgent or unsafe. If something is dangerous, call 911; if it is a structural or code question, that is a licensed engineer or your municipality.
  • A dispute with a contractor you have already hired. We are not mediators and not lawyers. Consumer Protection Ontario and independent legal advice are the right routes.
  • Contractors asking to be listed, to advertise, or to buy leads. We take no money from contractors, so there is nothing here to buy.
  • Projects outside the GTA and Peel Region, Ontario. We would be guessing at local prices and local ground, and we would rather say no than guess.

The one channel that is open

Working with us starts with a consultation: $150 for a written verdict on your project. The booking asks for your email at payment, and that address is how we reach you about the work — and how you reach us.
